Interconnect Transmission Project Engineer Lead Responsibilities include all port assignments of Ericsson, Nokia, and Nortel BSC and TCSM 2G port as well as Alcatel Spacial Media Gateway Span assignments A-Interface and IMT internal designs. Worked with traffic and planning engineers when there was a port capacity restraints new equipment cards would be ordered so enough capacity could support the cut sheet preparations for all: rehomes, augments, rebalancing port assignments and any other changes to the networks and engage the market operations team. Auditing of these networks to maximize accuracy and determine exhaustion and utilization while maintaining accurate records and assignments in Granite via excel spreadsheets. Lead outsourcing of all work to Alcatel Lucent and answer any questions that pertain to the equipment port assignment issues. Cost Savings Billing Order Management Analyst09/05-09/07

Oversee and acts as a lead involving escalation for billing/invoicing conflicts due to inaccuracy and resolve the issue. Familiar with the complete order and provisioning history of the circuit designs to ensure there is no legitimate billing concerns.

Process the disconnect order and send an ASR to all involved Telcos. Monitor progress and resolve any issues/clarifications required to fully process the disco. Establish that the complete circuit design is non-working with 3rd party billing charges. Working knowledge of billing and provisioning systems. Familiar with ICOM billing system.

Granite Equipment Engineer/Data Integration Assist: Field, Network, Provisioning and Transport engineering teams to research and resolved any inconsistencies appearing in Granite OSS from all field audit findings via excel spreadsheet (network port,equipment issues) to document its facilities supporting all infrastructure of the south region network. In addition I worked with system engineers to interoperate new and revised equipment packages and make all updates in the database. Lastly, I queried in Granite network inventory to analyze location, rack, patch panel, fiber, equipment, and circuits for data analysis. Modeling all locations, equipment, circuits, network elements as well as all connectivity associated to port mapping. Completed a full database reconciliation of all network elements in 21 separate market locations in the south region. Verified all equipment and circuit paths were migrated into Granite upgrades successfully. Managed multiple engineers as well as maintaining crucial day to day business tasks and escalations via workforce ticketing system. Coordinated and managed a regional switch audit, to renumber all switch rooms, in an effort to conform to company numbering standard. I attended weekly project calls to give status on all Granite related issues.

Responsible for provisioning Private Line, ATM/Frame Relay and ISDN PRI ASRs and Inter-Exchange Carrier (IXC) orders at the DSO, DS1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, and OC-48 levels. Responsible for performing project management of orders from the time they are forwarded to the IXC trading partner until the applicable Design Layout Record (DLR) is returned to Verizon. Provide ad hoc status updates to Verizon management.

Review data from MCI’s internal cost reduction database in order to audit circuit information and reduce cost by sending disconnect ASRs to the LEC. Compare LEC’s database with the original install and multiplexing equipment. Verify using MECCA if all DXC cross connections on the equipment and if live working with the switch technicians for further investigation. If no live traffic is present, a disconnect is issued to the LEC to take down for cost saving measures. Total cost savings on this project was five million dollars. Familiar with billing software CSG.

Vivare, Inc.- Data Integrity MetaSolv M6 Migration / Design Engineer 07/02-12/02

Assist in the MetaSolv TBS to M6 migration project. Documented a provisioning plan to dictate facility changes verifying all equipment, cross-connects, T1 & T3 assignments that would affect customer layout records and design layout reports were updated correctly. Querying OSS Inventories for M6 database to analyze location, equipment inventory and circuits for data analysis. Modeling locations, equipment, circuits, network elements and network systems in the inventory application as well as data and mapping modeling. Entered internal LSR’s ASR's and ISR's into the MetaSolv M6 system to migrate company from manual to mechanized environment. Designed end-to-end circuits, prepared DLR's to capture assignments and trunks comparing to their traffic record.

Translate installation-packages, via white or redline design documents from the field into equipment builds relevant network elements to be entered into Metasolv TBS provisioning system. Assist circuit design department to resolve equipment issues from the field and information updated on a circuit layout report. Querying OSS inventories for M6 database to analyze location, equipment inventory and circuits for data analysis. Responsible for developing technical specifications and designing customer and internal digital and analog circuits using Metasolv TBS OSS. Duties include placing orders with LECS using Bellcore standards while assisting in negotiations with LECS concerning engineering design specification and interface formats and coordinating porting of local and 800 number with the LEC. Efficient in sending LSR’s for T1’s as well as DS0 level trunking. Provided coordination and assistance in design, testing and trouble resolution to insure that the desired due date SLA is met. Responsibilities include communication with vendors and internal departments to get a circuit installed and engineered.
